 Jim Hurst joined his father's construction company
in 1954 after serving in the U.S. Navy. He later served as an officer in several
construction firms in California, starting his own construction company in 1974,
building several hundred homes and winning many awards. His company has been
involved in the development of Shelter Cove, Mariners Village, and Fawn Ridge
East and West in Florence, Oregon. Willy Teel has been involved in construction
since 1978, and is well known as the Florence area premier framing contractor.
He has framed hundreds of homes in his 30 years of construction. Teel and Hurst
Construction offer 80 years of construction experience, and specialize in truly
custom homes.

floor plan ideas and has a well qualified designer.
Between the group, some exceptional designs have been developed and built. The
designer is Tarl LaRocco and he is very reasonable, charging only $.40 per square foot for a
preliminary design including floor plan, elevation and site
plan. This makes it easy to get started without an expensive initial
outlay.
